Feedback Form Done

Oh DEAR!!!!
Meant to copy the feedback into here.....................

Stay tuned for the next exciting training schedule.

I'll be back when the odometer on the car reaches its next milestone.

Facebook - Library Training

What can we do with all this?

Well, what we have already done is held a Library Training Session for our community to explain to them how to use Facebook, How to joing teh Library Thing Community & How to create their own Blog.

Coffs Citizen is a "lapsed: facebook friend- I will have to get him involved again.

His Blog is a training tool, and the intention is taht the Posts will each be a different "How to", such as "How to reserve a book", 'How to place an oline request" "How to use Library thing" etc. The bones are there - we need to flesh it out.

So much to do! The Sky is the limit.

Five minutes till close of business

I was really trying to get this finished by today, andit is already 5.00pm. Just "Week 12" to go. Perhaps I can plead that I am operating on "Bellingen" time, which is never the same as anywhere else.

Fast Forward Flickr

Big Huge Labs looks interesting. Will investigate linking Flickr images. Do you go to Flickr first and organise that then link to BHL or the other way around?

The Elephant's Page

I will add here all the bits that I keep coming across & go "WOW - must remember about that!!!"

"How to use the library" Pods

Listened to Curtin Library podcasts - great instructional help on how to use the library & detailed info on services etc. Reaches out to many people at one time. What fun we could all have recording such a series!

What a great way to have audio reviews added to the catalogue - useful for Home Library borrowers, and any vision impaired borrowers.

Podcast - Reviews & Genre Criteria?

Listened to Podcast
How Tchaikovsky Became Australian
-- an interview with Graeme Murphy about his wonderful adaption of "The Nutcracker".
A Podcast would be a great way to promote book reviews. Great opportunity for staff to share the books they are passionate about ----- or even to discuss what / why we divide books into genres. A description of what actually constitutes a "Family Saga" would be helpful for staff ( so they can explain to customers) as well as making the criteria clearer for the members of the public.

One step closer

The odometer on the car is now reading 123456 kilometres. I actually pulled over at that point & took a photo will post that when I can get it out of my phone!.

Well, have now Answered a Question on Yahoo Answers, Had a renewed look at Delicious, and selected Photos from Flickr = looking at the conditions of use & access etc.

Trouble is, I spend tooooo much time on Facebook to get finished Libraries 2.0. Can we log Facebook time & get credit for hours spent there Mylee?
