Has it really been six months?

Well, I decided to get back on a "learning curve" and so with renewed interest, decided to complete the Learning 2.0 tasks. Didn't realise it had been six months since any action here. In that time, I have become a facebook tragic, have had lessons for the members of the library during Adult Learners Week on how to set up their own blog, use Facebook & use Library Thing. I have set up a Wiki to share information with our Children's Services staff in the NE Zone, and have assisted in presenting Web 2.0 info to Year 11 students. So throughout all this, I have been exposed to Delicious, and had actually set up a family Delicious page many moons ago. Have now joined with my Library hat on & hope to try again to get value from what it offers. I haven't found it that useful before, mainly because I tended to use favourites & forgot about Delicious. Will have another go - but realy think the benefit is using pages like the Ask.Now Delicious that has many many clever minds contributing to the overall knowledge. I think that's where the benefits could be. We do too much reinventing of the wheel. I will try get value out of what has already been done.

Great to see you back at the course. It took me a few months to really work out how I could use delicious and now I wonder how I managed before.
